The Government is keen on the NHS

I have no idea whether Brian Curwain is a closet politician, but he certainly seems to write like one (PJ,4 February 2012,p 139). First, the Government certainly has a mandate to govern and to make whatever changes it democratically can get passed. It gained the majority vote in the election. Secondly, is Dr Curwain being rather deliberately disingenuous by trying to suggest that the coalition is wishing to privatise the NHS and education? It certainly is not, but it is trying to make major structural changes that are long overdue.
