PRINCIPLES and guidelines for best practice in the reporting of clinical research, including publication of data, have been produced jointly by healthcare professionals and the pharmaceutical industry. "Clinical trial transparency-— principles and facts" was published by the Ethical Standards in Health and Life Sciences Group, the 16 members of which include the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
