Am I bothered about climate change? Yes, I am !

Terry Maguire makes some valid points in his letter (PJ, 20 October 2012, p441). Climate change is an inevitability. Earth has already seen five mass extinctions of life and we are surely heading for another. At times I have similar thoughts to Mr Maguire, thinking "why bother", but then I recall the scenes of human misery caused by extreme weather events and I do bother.
