Conference award for top pharmacist

DEREK STEWART, who has recently been appointed professor of pharmacy practice at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, will receive the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Conference Practice Research Award in recognition of his research, which has focused on the pharmacist prescriber. The award will be presented at the RPS Conference on Monday 12 September 2011, where Professor Stewart will deliver his lecture entitled "A multidimensional view of the pharmacist prescriber".
