We need community locums to live our lives

Chijioke Agomo's Broad spectrum (PJ, 2 July 2011, p16) was an excellent review of the differences between locum and employee status within the profession. Of course, a major attraction of pharmacy as a career is the choice of sector in which we can practise. How would employers and managers cope without locums? They give us the time we need to manage our businesses, fulfil our obligations and give us time to pursue our other interests.
