CALL FOR NOMINATIONS OF ROYAL PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY MEMBERS FOR NON-EXECUTIVE SEATS ON THE BOARD OF PHARMACEUTICAL PRESS

Pharmaceutical Press, the publishing division of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, invites nominations of RPS members to take up two non-executive seats on its board. With the non-executive chairman of the board, the non-executives provide governance to the executive team of the publishing operation. They participate in the board's collective review and approval of the annual budget and business plan, and monitor business results for accuracy and good fiscal health. As members of the board of a limited liability company, they will have personal liability for exercising this fiduciary responsibility. The role is part-time and should require an average commitment of one day per month, including attendance at board meetings (four or five times per year). The initial appointment will be for three years, with the possibility of renewal for a further three years.
