Proposed changes to the code of ethics for pharmacy professionals are being scrapped after they attracted widespread criticism during consultation, the General Pharmaceutical Council has revealed. Chief executive and registrar of the new regulator Duncan Rudkin said the council plans to prepare a revised set of standards for conduct, ethics and performance, based on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's existing code of ethics.
