Participants in a recent symposium on science in pharmacy have called for the inclusion of non-pharmacist scientists and researchers working in the pharmaceutical sciences to be allowed to join the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, This article from the Society's Science and Research Team summarises the key pointsOn 14 July 2010, over 70 individuals from every sector of pharmacy gathered for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's pharmaceutical science development day, whose theme was "Building a place for science at local and regional levels".The day culminated in proposals to co-ordinate science networks and resources with the new local practice forums, and with allied science and health care groups and regional research consortia.
