College of Pharmacy Practice expels Butler

Former pharmacist Charles Buder has been expelled from the College of Pharmacy Practice, the organisation he helped to found, following his March conviction for fraud and possession of narcotics (PJ, 3/10 April 2010, p329). Mr Butler joined the CPP as a founder member when it was established in 1981 and has since served as governor, treasurer, vice-chairman and chairman of the organisation. He was designated an honorary fellow of the college on completing his term of office as chairman of governors in 2007.
