Undue haste

The President has described as "dissent" the response by members who took the trouble to study carefully the proposed changes to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Charter and to submit suggested alterations (PJ, 27 June 2009, p767). If unwillingness on the part of some fellow pharmacists to accept a flawed set of proposals is considered to be "dissent", then I would, question the motives behind the consultation.
