After reading John Henderson's letter (PJ, 15 November 2008, p562), I believe there must be many independent pharmacy owners who could also relate to similar pressures of work. We all know that over the past 20 years or so there has been a gradual increase in workload, ranging from operating a profitable business (to pay for all the overheads and award oneself a decent salary) to running an efficient and professional pharmacy so that patients get the best possible service.
