Generating MP support a key tactic in defence of GP dispensing

The Dispensing Doctors'Association has led a clear campaign against the proposed changes to the regulations governing dispensing doctors,since the publication of the Department of Health's consultation document in August.Public relations company Weber Shandwick has advised the DDA on its approach to defending dispensing by doctors,with the focus of the campaign placed on generating awareness and support from Parliament.In addition to responding to the consultation echoing the DDA's clear"no change"stance,members have been urged to write to their local MP to engage them in opposition to the proposed reform.
