SUSTAINABILITY and corporate social responsibility represent a strong opportunity for cotton promotion. As the industry moves toward best practices in agriculture and processing, both corporations and consumers need to be made aware of those improvements. Advancements such as biodiesel for farm implements and decreased chemical applications make a strong case for cotton as a renewable, sustainable, planet-friendly resource.
