A private cervical cancer vaccination service is being offered at.10 Boots pharmacies across London.The service,which allows women to pay for vaccination with Cervarix,is intended to supplement the current NHS initiative to vaccinate girls aged 12-18 years that started in September this year.The Boots vaccination service is available to women aged 18-26 years.This decision was made because,although immunogenicity data for women up to 55 years are available for Cervarix,clinical efficacy data are only available for those aged 15-25 years.
