Domestic imports of color coated steel sheet showed a sharp decline down 32,5percent a year ago in January. According to the trade customs clearance statistics,January imports of color coated steel sheet totaled 10,732 metric tons, down 32.5percent from a year earlier registered 15,890 metric tons, but a little bit rise from thepreceding month, reflecting a kind of confusion due directly to seemingly revisedstandards related to zinc coating requirements.
