to the edstoi: Boston Scientific wishes to respond to statements made by Gross and Crowley in their Perspective article (Oct. 25 issue) about a shipment of products that was stolen in 2011. Our worldwide customers were provided with a complete list of affected products, including model numbers and lot numbers for complete lots, not partial lots as implied. Our customers were provided with all the information necessary to readily determine whether they had received any affected products. In addition, there is no evidence that any affected products found their way to our customers or any other hospitals.
