Re: The impact of RIRS for asymptomatic renal stones in patients undergoing ureteroscopy for a symptomatic ureteral stone

摘要

This study suggests that it is safe to remove renal stones simultaneously with ureteroscopic extraction of ureteral calculi. This approach might have economic benefits as it might obviate the need for future stone removing procedures. It also could have a positive impact on quality of life as the patient might not experience the pain of another event or be subjected to the stress of thinking about such an occurrence.
