LME cash nickel prices have corrected over the past month as investors switched focus back to the economic challenges facing key economies. Prices have been on a downward trend since reaching a high of $18,800/t in early October. At the time of writing, LME cash nickel prices were hovering around the $16,100/t level as market participants digested more disappointing news on the Eurozone.
