Free energy of water permeation into hydrophobic core of sodium dodecyi sulfate micelle by molecular dynamics calculation

摘要

In our previous study,free energy of micelle formation has been calculated for sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) in water as a function of its size by the thermodynamic integration method combined with molecular dynamics calculation.From the calculated free energy,size distribution of the micelle has been evaluated following the chemical species model.
