JGC wins contract to build ninth LNG train in Bintulu

PETRONAS has awarded Japan's JGC Corporation a US$2bn engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for the ninth LNG train at its Sarawak site. The site at Bintulu is already home to eight trains - all built and commissioned by JGC over the past 30 years. The new train will have a capacity of 3.6m t/y of LNG.
