Polypipe chief executive elected BPF president

David Hall, the chief executive of Polypipe, has been elected the new president of the British Plastics Federation (BPF). Hall, who was the BPF's vice president, takes over from Mike Boswell, managing director of Plastribution, who had held the position for two years. Like Boswell, Hall will be president for 24 months. The Polypipe boss had been widely expected to take up the presidency but was officially 'unveiled' at the BPF's annual general meeting, held in the trade body's London headquarters on 28 May.
