UPM factors in versatility

Berkshire-based UPM Conveyors (Stand C005) will feature the technology it provided for the automation of product handling for Plastek UK which won the PIA Processor of the Year 2013 award. UPM Conveyors installed the first system for Plaslek UK in 2005 and has completed its third additional system. Versatility of operations is provided via a human interface touchscreen; moulded products can be transferred easily and quickly from injection machines to fully automatic assembly assembly and packaging machines doing away with manual involvement.
