The delivered Turkey thermal coal marketslipped 50 cents this week, as steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik(IDC) bought two lower-priced Panamax cargoes of SouthAfrican and Russian coal at $61/mt CIF, according to marketsources Friday.Sources said IDC had been tendering for the two cargoesfor late September and October loading.One Turkey-based trader said the tender had beenawarded to a large producer trader at $61/mt CIF for aPanamax each of Russian and South African material.
