Singapore - A flurry of coking coal spot transactions has taken place in India in the last few days, for qualities ranging from premium HCC to semi-hard, at prices closely matching Chinese spot imports, sources reported Thursday. The new transactions did not move HCC spot prices either way, and Platts assessed premium low-vol HCC unchanged at $148/mt FOB Australia, and second-tier HCC steady at $131.50/mt FOB.
