European acrylonitrile prices were assessed unchanged this week at $1,450/mt CIF Med, on continued availability of Russian product and steady demand. One producer said that there was good demand from the fiber sector, and had noticed suprisingly strong demand due to low inventories across the supply chain. He added that there was bullish expectation for the March propylene contract price, driven by the recent surge in naphtha prices.
