EDC: US ethylene dichloride held steady on the week, assessed Thursday at $135-$145/mt FOB USG, on limited supply and climbing feedstocks. In feedstocks, US spot ethylene was assessed Thursday at 24.75 cents/lb ($546/mt) FD USG for November. The spike in prices came amid the completed turnarounds at two Texas-based producers - Ineos restarted Olefins No. 2 in Alvin on Monday, and Flint Hills restarted its Port Arthur cracker on Thursday, sources said.
