Asian polypropylene prices for the raffia grade Wednesday were flat to higher week on week, with CFR Far East Asia stable at $1,005/mt amid a standoff in buying and selling. There were no deals heard done during the week. Demand had tapered off ahead of the Lunar New Year, sources said. According to a China-based source, many end-users have shut their plants already. Hence, demand has weakened.
