European ethylene spot prices were assessed at Eur713/mt, unchanged on the day and week. Demand was said to be picking up after both the contract price settlement, and the naphtha jump, combined to dispel previously bearish price expectations. Two deals were heard this week: One was heard done at MCP-10% for 2,000, FD ARG, and both parties confirmed; The second deal was heard done at MCP-12% for 1,000 mt, FD ARG, and the buyer confirmed.
