Latin American import assessments for Brazil and Peru were higher week-on-week, with sources saying that dwindling Asian-origin stock was making sourcing material from that region difficult. In Peru, homopolymer and co-polymer assessments rose $10/mt week on week to $1,230-$1,240/mt and $1,260-$1,270/ mt CFR basis, respectively. In Brazil, assessments rose $15/mt to $1,250-$1,260/mt for homopolymer and $1,280-$1,290/mt for co-polymer, pressured by regional offers and global prices.
