Polypropylene markets in Latin America were stable week on week, amid expectations from market participants that prices may drop, triggered mainly by lower propylene prices in Asia. In Brazil, assessments remained flat week on week, as no offers were heard in the market. Homopolymer was assessed at $1,625-$1,635/mt CFR Brazil. Last week, an offer from Taiwan was heard at $1,710/mt CFR Brazil, with CAD (cash-in-advance) payment terms.
