Polypropylene price decreases have continued in Latin America. Lower offers, mainly from Asia, were leading market participants to expect that prices might drop even more, sources said. The propylene price in Asia, was also decreasing, pressuring prices down. In Peru, co-polymer decreased $10/mt, assessed Wednesday at $1,645-$1,655/mt CFR Peru. Offers from South Korea were heard in a range of $1,665-$1,690/mt CFR basis for volumes starting at 100mt and delivery time in May.
