Asian acrylonitrile prices were flat this week in East Asia but fell in South Asia on availability of deepsea cargoes. The CFR Far East Asia and CFR Southeast Asia markers were assessed at $1,865/mt and $1,870/mt Tuesday, both unchanged week on week. The CFR South Asia marker fell $15/mt over the same period to $1,845/mt. Domestic discussions in China were heard at Yuan 13,700/mt Tuesday, or 1,849/mt on an import parity basis, flat from a week earlier.
