US PVC export prices spiked $40/mt week on week, assessed Wednesday at $935-945/mt FAS Houston, as several trading sources cited three producers selling out June shipments in less than two days, and as buying interest from Turkey and Latin America was heard returning. Buying bids were heard at $1,020/mt CFR Turkey for May or June shipments. “We are not entertaining anything below $1,030-1,040 for Turkey at this point,” one trader source said.
