US PVC export prices edged up $20/mt week on week Wednesday to an assessment of $940-950/mt FAS Houston. The price increase was supported by tight supply and strong demand, sources said. Negotiations for October cargoes were in progress, but traders said producers were not offering resin due to limited supply as production costs kept climbing. October notional prices from the producers and traders perspective, however, were talked this week around $950-980/mt FAS Houston.
