Japan’s JX Holdings has expanded its domestic gasoline market share to 34% in the April- September period, up from 33.5% from a year ago, supported by healthy demand during the summer driving season, the company said Tuesday. The hot summer weather supported its increased gasoline sales in the first half of the 2016-17 (April-March) fiscal year, Katsuyuki Ota, director and executive officer of JX Holdings said at a press briefing in Tokyo.
