US light sweet, medium crude imports fall hard

Washington-The US saw dramatic decreases in imports of light sweet and medium grade crudes from 2009 to 2014 and only modest increases in heavy sour crude imports, mainly due to growth of Canadian exports into the Midwest, according to Energy Information Administration data released Friday.
