Eni targets 3.5%/year production growth

London-Italy’s Eni has forecast production growth of 3.5%/year in 2015-2018, promising it is tightening up on previously patchy execu- tion and capitalizing on recent exploration success offshore Africa. In a strategy presentation Friday, CEO Claudio Descalzi said Eni would add new production of 650,000 b/d of oil equivalent by 2018, based on 16 major projects due to start up over the period, plus others started up last year.
