Kurdish exports to top 550,000 b/d in March: KRG

Istanbul-The Kurdistan Regional Government of northern Iraq expects to exceed an agreed level of 550,000 b/d of crude oil exports during March and does not plan to hand over any surplus crude to Iraq’s federal oil marketing company SOMO, a source close to the KRG said Wednesday. The source confirmed that exports from the region are already approaching the 550,000 b/d agreed to with Baghdad in December last year and will likely exceed that level during March.
