EOG to drill but not complete wells this year

Houston-US shale operator EOG Resources will drill wells but delay their completions this year while it waits for crude oil prices to recover at least modestly, company managers said Thursday. Over this year, “if oil prices improve and they look something like the forward curve in the $60 [per barrel] range, we’d begin com- pleting many [uncompleted] wells starting in third-quarter 2015,” CEO Bill Thomas said.
