Rio de Janeiro—Members of a holdout Brazilian oil workers union voted Friday to accept Petrobras’ latest proposal and return to work, ending a 19-day walkout that had cut the company’s production by 100,000 b/d in recent days. The Sindipetro-NF union, which represents workers on board 50 platforms that produce about 1.5 million b/d in the key Campos Basin, had previously rejected Petrobras’ offer. The company offered half-pay to workers for days spent on the picket line, while workers wanted to receive full pay.
