Russia sees 2015 oil exports rising 2.5%

Moscow—Russia expects to see its crude exports grow by some 100,000 b/d, or 2.5%, this year as recent tax changes and ongoing refinery upgrades free up more domestic production, deputy energy minister Kirill Molodtsov said Thursday. Crude exports are set to grow because Russia will continue modernizing its refineries to improve secondary refining processes, Molodtsov said. As a result, output of highquality gasoline is to grow, while primary refining volume of crude oil is set to decline, freeing crude volumes for export, he said.
