Rosneft calls for new refining sector perks

Moscow-Russia’s largest oil producer, Ros- neft, has resumed its push for additional gov- ernment support for the downstream sector, saying refining margins have dropped signifi- cantly due to the combined impact of recent tax changes and lower oil prices. Russia’s RBC Daily reported Wednesday that Rosneft’s CEO Igor Sechin had sent a letter to President Vladimir Putin urging the authorities to consider additional incentives for the refining sector.
