‘Intensity’ to drive growth for Baker Hughes

Houston—Rising service intensity should translate to revenue growth for oil services giant Baker Hughes that proportionally leapfrogs the company’s projected US land well count increase of 5% this year, on the back of bustling shale drilling, the company said Thursday. The same trend looks increasingly set to occur in the Eastern Hemisphere, CEO Martin Craighead said during a quarterly earnings conference call.
