Baghdad—Iraq remains divided over oil exports and sales from its autonomous Kurdistan region despite suggestions that a breakthrough had been reached over a longrunning dispute over how Kurdish oil is sold, a Kurdish official said Thursday. The Kurdish comments come after media reports suggested the region has dropped demands to sell its own oil, a move which would have removed a key sticking point in export talks with Baghdad.
