South Korea to help with Indonesia gas projects

Seoul—South Korea and Indonesia have agreed to work together to develop several gas-related projects in the Southeast Asian nation, which is facing the prospect of a gas supply shortfall in the next five years. The projects include development of Indonesia’s vast coalbed methane resources, construction of onshore and floating LNG facilities and small LNG carriers, and construction of a $2.8 billion synthetic natural gas plant.
