Tehran—Iran is set to build a new oil terminal to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic waterway which connects the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf and through which about of fifth of the world’s oil is shipped, oil ministry news service Shana reported on Wednesday. The new terminal will be used for oil and also gas exports to Oman, a senior Iranian official said.
