RWE ‘uncertain’ over UK consent for RWE Dea sale

London-German utility group RWE said Sun- day it was currently “uncertain” whether the UK government would allow the planned sale of RWE’s oil and gas production unit to L1, part of Russia’s Alfa Group, due to sanctions on Russia. RWE said that several consents were still required for the Eur5.1 billion ($6.5 billion) sale of RWE Dea, first announced in March, to go ahead.
