Singapore—China’s state-owned oil giant PetroChina has been hit by a slew of legal actions in the US after being tainted by a corruption scandal last week. Three senior officials from the company and a vice president from its parent China National Petroleum Corp. resigned last week after news emerged that they are being investigated by the Chinese government for disciplinary violations, commonly used to refer to corruption allegations.
