Buenos Aires—Argentina’s government ordered oil companies to present investment plans for 2014, along with current production levels, as part of the country’s effort to rebuild oil and natural gas output after a decade of decline. A federal hydrocarbons commission said Monday that companies must present the information by October 15, according to a resolution in the Official Bulletin, the government’s paper of record.
