Iraq topples iran as Turkey's biggest oil supplier

Istanbul-Iran has lost its traditional place as the biggest exporter of crude to Turkey as imports of Iraqi oil soared in April to more than 114,000 b/d. The latest data released by Turkey's ener- gy regulator, the EPDK, released late Friday, showed total Turkish crude imports in April ris- ing by 62% to 2.737 million mt (406,570 b/d) compared with 250,875 b/d in March.
